Kevin’s first job was working for a general firm of Auctioneers as office junior and he first took the rostrum in 1983. His auctioneering career started with a variety of auctions including antiques and object d’art, household furniture, cars, commercials, livestock, farm machinery, contractors plant, hay and straw and equestrian items before choosing to specialise in land and property. In the mid 1990’s he then became the Principal Auctioneer & Valuer when he joined the Auction Division of an independent firm of Estate Agents; joining Clive Emson Auctioneers in 2003 as Director and Auctioneer.
Kevin previously held the position of Vice Chairman of the Incorporated Society of Auctioneers and Valuers (Kent Branch) prior to the amalgamation in 2000 with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is a Fellow of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers. Outside of work, Kevin remains passionate about property and architecture, enjoys travelling, exploring and cooking when not being a personal taxi for his two sons!
