Levelling the Tax Playing Field for Landlords
In recent years, HMRC have moved the goalposts for landlords.
This seminar will explain how landlords can level the playing field through, legitimate, tax planning. It will discuss the viability and benefits of incorporation to mitigate against Section 24. Holding company structures, Inheritance Tax planning options and little-known SDLT quirks will also be discussed.
The presenter is a Chartered Tax Advisor with over 10 years of experience. His company, Comprehensive Tax Planning, specialise in providing a range of tax advice to property investors.
Sean Hughes is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with over 10 years’ experience of giving tax advice to landlords. Sean specialises in helping property investors to incorporate their portfolios, if it is suitable for them, and is a property tax expert.
Having previously worked at two Top-10 accountancy firms, Sean set up his own tax advisory practice in 2016 following the announcement of Section 24.
To date Sean has helped over 50 investors to incorporate their portfolios.
