The Property Investors Awards has teamed up with the Property Investor Show to put together an exciting panel of five of its award winners.

Everyone knows that property investors are dealing with multiple challenges this year. That’s why it’s essential to learn from and be inspired by those property investors who are winning in today’s challenging climate.

This years award winning investors and developers will join us at the Property Investors Show and share with us:

  • The property deals which proved to be award winning
  • What is it about them as individuals and entrepreneurs that make them winners
  • What winning the award has meant for their business
  • What investment strategies the winners are adopting going forward

Speaker Profiles

Ranjan Bhattacharya

Ranjan Bhattarcharya is a seasoned property investor and developer who over the last 25 years has built an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial property in London. Ranjan is also senior partner in Fab Lets, a North London based lettings and property Management Company.

Ranjan writes a monthly column on  Commercial Property for Property Investor News magazine and sits on the judging panel for the prestigious annual Property Investor Awards.

Ranjan is the founder and event host of the Baker Street Property Meet.

Cyril Thomas

Founder | The Property Investor Awards 

Cyril Thomas is the founder of multiple property and software related businesses - including The Property Investors Awards

He has been investing in property since 2006.

Cyril is also a dedicated member of the Colchester Round Table who raise funds for worthy local charitable causes.

Luke Spikes

Luke Spikes has a habit of starting businesses (seven thus far in a career spanning 33 years) and having sold the last one and collected his cash, he promised his wife that it would be the last.

Then he read Simon Zutshi’s Property Magic book - and was intrigued. Then he heard him speak - and was inspired. Four weeks later Luke signed up to Simon’s Mastermind programme, conceived of the vision for higgihaus and in March 2017 start-up number seven was born. His wife wasn’t happy.

#teamhiggi are based in Bristol and actively investing in co-living, serviced accommodation and boutique hotels in Swansea, Bristol and beyond.

Ben Collins

Having started his career as a film director Ben Collins secured multiple awards for his films and commercials that enlivened his audacious and tenacious character.

Ben then set up his own production studio growing it to a multi-million pound business running international campaigns for the likes of Nike, Sky, Adidas and Unilever. His creative flair tempered with a head for business has always given Ben a unique approach to marketing and connecting with audiences.

For Ben life is all about good creative work, airline magazines, peanuts and expensive bags.

Jamie Pickerill

Jamie Pickerill has been acquiring and trading in off market, direct-to-vendor development sites for 15 years.

Specialising in adding value through the planning & design process, creative deal structures and site assemblies, he prides himself of being entirely honest and creating deals that benefit absolutely everyone involved.

Believing that there are enough deals to go around, Jamie is always willing to share his knowledge and help people at any stage of their own journey.

A J Shome & Kevin Edge

Kevin Edge is a Director at Founthill Land.

Started 5 years ago, Founthill are specialists in all things land, planning and development. Working primarily in North London, Hertfordshire and Essex its main focus is to source off-market development sites and to use the team’s collective expertise to secure complex and highly-optimised planning consents for new-build development sites which would otherwise not have come to market.

In creating a strong and continuous pipeline of sites, this feeds Founthill’s development business which delivers high-spec, high-quality homes at an affordable price that serve everyday working people in locations where housing demand is the greatest.
